Ingredients

  • 80 g butter
  • 2 cups Arnott's chocolate ripple biscuits crushed
  • 500 g cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup caster sugar
  • 2 tbs fresh orange juice
  • 2 tsp orange rind
  • 1/2 cup dark choc bits melted
  • 300 ml thickened cream
  • 3 tsp gelatine powder
  • 1/4 cup boiling water

Method

  • Step 1
    Combine biscuit crumbs and butter. Press into the base of a lightly greased 20 cm springform pan. Chill.
  • Step 2
    Beat cream cheese and sugar using electric mixer until smooth. Add melted choc bits to the cream cheese with the orange juice, rind and gelatine mixed with boiling water, and beat until well combined. Fold in the cream.
  • Step 3
    Pour into prepared base and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight.
  • Step 4
    To serve, top with grated chocolate or whipped cream.
