All you need is one GLAD sandwich bag for making dough. No mess and easy to knead.
Ingredients
- 50 g butter
- 50 g icing sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 120 g plain flour
Method

Step 1Inside a GLAD Snap Lock Sandwich Bag, place the butter, then seal and squeeze until soften.

Step 2Open bag, then add sugar and reseal, then squeeze until combined. Reopen bag, add egg yolk, reseal and squeeze until well combined.

Step 3Open bag, add flour, reseal and squeeze until the dough starts to clump together.

Step 4Shape and roll the dough like a log in the bag. Place in the freezer for about an hour to chill. Once solid, remove from the bag.

Step 5Preheat oven to 180C. Line a baking sheet with GLAD Bake & Cooking Paper. Slice the logs into 5mm thick. Place the cookies onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool on a rack and enjoy.
Recipe Notes
For making cocoa cookies: 110g plain flour + 15g cocoa powder. You can store the cookie dough in freezer for about 1 month.
