Ingredients

  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g icing sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 120 g plain flour

Method

  • Step 1
    Inside a GLAD Snap Lock Sandwich Bag, place the butter, then seal and squeeze until soften.
  • Step 2
    Open bag, then add sugar and reseal, then squeeze until combined. Reopen bag, add egg yolk, reseal and squeeze until well combined.
  • Step 3
    Open bag, add flour, reseal and squeeze until the dough starts to clump together.
  • Step 4
    Shape and roll the dough like a log in the bag. Place in the freezer for about an hour to chill. Once solid, remove from the bag.
  • Step 5
    Preheat oven to 180C. Line a baking sheet with GLAD Bake & Cooking Paper. Slice the logs into 5mm thick. Place the cookies onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned. Cool on a rack and enjoy.
Recipe Notes
For making cocoa cookies: 110g plain flour + 15g cocoa powder. You can store the cookie dough in freezer for about 1 month.
