This delicious, warm chocolate Nutella pudding will please the entire family. Topped with candied hazelnuts, it's the type of dessert worth going back for seconds.
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 125g unsalted butter melted
- 3/4 cup Nutella plus extra to serve
- 3 tbs plain flour
- Ice cream *to serve
Candied hazelnuts
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup hazelnuts
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C. Grease a 4-cup capacity ovenproof dish with butter.

Step 2To make the candied hazelnuts, line a tray with baking paper. Place sugar in a small saucepan with 2 tbs water. Bring to the boil and allow to simmer, swirling occasionally, for 3 - 4 minutes until a light caramel colour. Remove from heat and add hazelnuts, stirring to coat. Working quickly, tip mixture out onto prepared tray. Leave to cool, then break apart and chop to desired consistency.

Step 3In a large bowl, whisk eggs, sugar and vanilla until frothy. Add melted butter and Nutella and whisk until smooth. Fold through flour. Pour into prepared dish and bake for 12 - 15 minutes until just set.

Step 4Drizzle over extra Nutella and sprinkle with candied hazelnuts. Serve immediately with ice cream or cream.
