Featuring an easy filling of condensed milk and an Oreo biscuit base, this simple slice gets our tick of approval.
Ingredients
- 2 x 137g pkts Oreo Original biscuits
- 60g butter, melted, cooled
- 395g can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 cups desiccated coconut
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 2 cups pure icing sugar
- Pink food colouring
- Icing sugar, to dust (optional)
Method

Step 1Grease and line the base of a 20cm square cake pan, allowing 2 long sides to overhang.

Step 2Process the Oreo biscuits in a food processor until finely chopped. Add the butter and process until combined. Press firmly into the base of the prepared pan. Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to firm.

Step 3Place the condensed milk, coconuts and sugar in a bowl. Stir well to combine. Transfer half of the mixture to the pan. Use wet fingers to push down evenly.

Step 4Add the food colouring to the remaining coconut mixture. Stir well to combine. Transfer to the pan and use wet fingers to press down firmly. Place in the fridge for 1 hour or until firm. Cut into squares and dust with icing sugar, if desired.
