Ingredients

  • 420 g tomato soup
  • 420 g can condensed spicy tomato soup
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 4 celery sticks chopped
  • 1 brown onion chopped
  • 1 cup spirals pasta shapes
  • 1 L hot water

Method

  • Step 1
    Place carrot, celery and onion in a large pot.
  • Step 2
    Cover with hot water and bring to the boil.
  • Step 3
    Simmer until vegetables are soft.
  • Step 4
    Add pasta and soup. Cook until pasta is cooked through and soup is hot.
Recipe Notes

Add a clove of garlic for a bit of extra flavour.

Use pasta spirals or bows.

You can add more vegetables if you prefer a chunky soup.

Be careful not to overcook pasta, it is best to slightly undercook it if you plan on reheating the soup.
