Ingredients

  • 25 g butter
  • 1 tsp mustard powder
  • 125 g button mushrooms sliced
  • 2/3 cup thickened cream
  • 2 tbs fresh chives chopped

Method

  • Step 1
    Heat butter in a pan, add mustard, then mushrooms.
    Mushroom Sauce
  • Step 2
    Stir over low heat until mushrooms are tender.
  • Step 3
    Stir in cream. Bring to boil, then simmer until slightly thickened.
  • Step 4
    Stir in chives before serving.
Recipe Notes

I use Keens mustard powder.
