Creamy, cheesy tuna bake topped on a crunchy bread stick. A great party snack or serve with salad for a hearty meal.
Ingredients
- 200 g canned tuna in springwater drained
- 3/4 cup tasty cheese grated
- 1 onion diced small
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 crusty bread
Method

Step 1Mix onion with tuna, cheese and mayonnaise.

Step 2Cut bread stick into pieces 2½ cm thick.

Step 3Spoon tuna and mayonnaise mixture onto bread stick.

Step 4Bake in moderate oven for about 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and bread stick is crisp.
Recipe Notes
You can substitue the tuna for shredded chicken, and add other vegetables like capsium and celery. You can also brush bread with minced garlic if you wish to add flavour.
