Ingredients

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 1 jar Leggo's bolognese pasta sauce
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1/4 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 packet spaghetti
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup parmesan *to serve

Method

  • Step 1
    Pour Leggos pasta sauce into a saucepan with onion and garlic and simmer for half an hour. Add lemon zest and simmer for a further 5 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Cook beef mince in a fry pan until browned. Combine mince with the sauce mixture and simmer for a further 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Boil a large pot of water and add salt. Add pasta and simmer until pasta is cooked al dente.
  • Step 4
    Add pasta to the sauce mixture with a splash of pasta water and stir to combine. Serve with a sprinkle of pepper and grated parmesan cheese.
Recipe Notes
Serve with some fresh basil.
