The hint of lemon really works!
Ingredients
- 500 g beef mince
- 1 jar Leggo's bolognese pasta sauce
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp lemon zest
- 1 packet spaghetti
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
- 1/4 cup parmesan *to serve
Method

Step 1Pour Leggos pasta sauce into a saucepan with onion and garlic and simmer for half an hour. Add lemon zest and simmer for a further 5 minutes.

Step 2Cook beef mince in a fry pan until browned. Combine mince with the sauce mixture and simmer for a further 10 minutes.

Step 3Boil a large pot of water and add salt. Add pasta and simmer until pasta is cooked al dente.

Step 4Add pasta to the sauce mixture with a splash of pasta water and stir to combine. Serve with a sprinkle of pepper and grated parmesan cheese.
