These simple, hearty puffs are delicious spread with butter!
Ingredients
- 200g maple glazed streaky bacon
- 250g cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup caster sugar, plus extra for dusting
- 1/2 tsp powdered cinnamon
- 4 eggs
- 150ml thickened cream
- 150g pkt mini croissants, cut into 1-2cm dice
- Maple syrup, for serving

Step 1Preheat oven to 170°C. Grease a 6 x 1 cup capacity muffin tin.

Step 2Heat a medium frying pan over a medium high heat, add bacon and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add croissants and cook for 1-2 minutes to toast slightly. Remove from heat.

Step 3Place cream cheese, sugar, cinnamon and eggs in a food processor and process until smooth, add cream and process to combine. Transfer to a bowl and fold in bacon and croissants.

Step 4Evenly divide mixture between the 6 muffin holes. Sprinkle with a bit more sugar and bake for 25-30 minutes or until puffed and golden.

Step 5Serve drizzled with maple syrup.
