This is a very simple and inexpensive family meal that everyone will love. My two year old gets very excited when we have this, he can't wait for it to be served. - mikeys_mummy

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 garlic clove crushed
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 1 tbs curry powder
  • 400 g tomato pasta sauce
  • 500 g spaghetti
  • 300 g tasty cheese grated
  • 100 g parmesan grated
  • 4 egg beaten

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Step 2
    Heat oil in a pan and cook onion and garlic for 5 minutes.

    Add mince and curry powder, cook until meat is browned.
  • Step 4
    Add pasta sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Meanwhile, cook spaghetti and drain well, return to saucepan.
  • Step 6
    Add beef to spaghetti and toss to combine.
  • Step 7
    Combine tasty cheese and parmesan and add 300 g of mixture to the eggs.
  • Step 8
    Pour egg mixture into the spaghetti and toss through.
  • Step 9
    Spoon into a casserole dish and top with remaining cheese.
  • Step 10
    Bake for 30 minutes, until golden.
  • Step 11
    Serve with a green salad.
