Ingredients

  • 300ml cream
  • 60g caster sugar
  • 50ml white wine
  • Zest from 1/2 a lemon
  • Juice from half lemon
  • Lady finger biscuits, to decorate
  • Nutmeg, to sprinkle

Method

  • Step 1
    Chill dessert glasses in the refrigerator.
  • Step 2
    Whip cream and caster sugar until thick. Add wine and lemon juice and stir to combine. Add lemon zest and fold gently. Set aside.
  • Step 3
    Remove chilled glasses from refrigerator. Spoon syllabub into glasses. Push lady finger biscuits into the pudding. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Recipe Notes

Plus setting time.

You can use dry or sweet white wine.
