Retro lemon syllabub is making a comeback and what better way to serve it than with crumbly lady finger biscuits to scoop up that lemony pudding!
Ingredients
- 300ml cream
- 60g caster sugar
- 50ml white wine
- Zest from 1/2 a lemon
- Juice from half lemon
- Lady finger biscuits, to decorate
- Nutmeg, to sprinkle
Method

Step 1Chill dessert glasses in the refrigerator.

Step 2Whip cream and caster sugar until thick. Add wine and lemon juice and stir to combine. Add lemon zest and fold gently. Set aside.

Step 3Remove chilled glasses from refrigerator. Spoon syllabub into glasses. Push lady finger biscuits into the pudding. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

Plus setting time.
You can use dry or sweet white wine.
