Ingredients

  • 440 g chocolate cake mix
  • 100 g chocolate pudding mix
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1/3 cup butter melted
  • 2 egg lightly beaten

Method

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients together with a whisk or fork until smooth.

    Pour mixture into a greased and lined cake tin.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 180C until a skewer comes out clean.
  • Step 4
    Let cake sit for 5-10 minutes until turning out onto a wire rack to cool.
Recipe Notes

Black Label lemonade does not work very well in this recipe. I find the Cottee's Choc Pudding Mix the most successful. This mixture also works well in muffin tins. You can substitute the chocolate cake/pudding mix for vanilla. Delicious served warm with a dollop of double thickened cream. Use butter or margarine.
