A yummy version of tuna mornay that fills the whole family.
Ingredients
- 30 g butter
- 2 tbs plain flour
- 2 cup milk
- 2 chicken stock cube crumbled
- 425 g canned tuna
- 1 lemon juiced
- 4 potato medium
- 1 tbs milk
- 1 tbs butter
- 1/2 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/2 onion grated optional small
Method

Step 1Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour and cook for 1 minute.

Step 2Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until sauce boils and thickens.

Step 3Add stock cubes, tuna, lemon juice and pepper. Set aside.

Step 4Boil and mash potato with extra milk and butter, season.

Step 5Spoon mash into casserole dish, then spoon mornay mix on top and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.

Step 6Bake at 180C for 25 minutes.
