A wonderfully simple and delicious tasting custard pie.
Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup Woolworths Coconut Fine Desiccated
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 125g butter melted
- 4 eggs lightly beaten
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup icing sugar
- 100ml cream *to serve
Method

Step 1Preheat oven 180C.

Step 2Lightly grease a 23cm round pie plate.

Step 3In a large bowl, mix together all ingredients.

Step 4Pour mixture into prepared pie plate.

Step 5Bake for 50-55 minutes until set and lightly browned.

Step 6Serve in wedges dusted with icing sugar and with whipped cream.
Recipe Notes
It's magic, the pastry is on the bottom, custard in the middle and a lovely coconut topping.
