Ingredients

  • 1 canned chickpeas drained
  • 1 tbs tahini
  • 1 tsp garlic minced
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tbs olive oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Combine all ingredients using food processor, blender, or stick mixer.
    Hummus
  • Step 2
    Blend until smooth.
  • Step 3
    If mixture is too dry, add a little more juice.

Equipment

  • 1 food processor
Recipe Notes

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Instead of apple juice you can substitute orange juice. Use 1 tsp minced garlic or 1 clove crushed garlic and ½ cup apple or orange juice.
