A tasty chickpea dip that goes great with toasted pita bread!
Ingredients
- 1 canned chickpeas drained
- 1 tbs tahini
- 1 tsp garlic minced
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tbs olive oil
Method

Step 1Combine all ingredients using food processor, blender, or stick mixer.

Step 2Blend until smooth.

Step 3If mixture is too dry, add a little more juice.
Equipment
- 1 food processor
Recipe Notes
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Instead of apple juice you can substitute orange juice. Use 1 tsp minced garlic or 1 clove crushed garlic and ½ cup apple or orange juice.
