Hot Cheesy Corn Cob Loaf Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 cob loaf
  • 420 g cream-style canned corn
  • 6 bacon rashers finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup tasty cheese grated
  • 4 spring onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp chicken seasoning
  • 1 tsp boiling water

Method

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 180C.
  • Step 2
    Hollow out cob loaf. Set broken pieces of bread aside.
  • Step 3
    Set aside ½ cup cheese. Dissolve chicken seasoning in boiling water.
  • Step 4
    Combine remaining ingredients and place into empty cob loaf.

  • Step 5
    Top with remaining cheese.
  • Step 6
    Place on large oven tray and bake for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Step 7
    Remove from oven and place broken pieces of bread around cob on tray.
  • Step 8
    Place back into oven to toast bread, approximately 5 minutes.

  • 1 heavy-based oven tray

I usually purchase a French stick for extra dipping bread.
