Ingredients

  • 250 g butter
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 3/4 cup cornflour
  • 1 1/2 cups plain flour
  • 1 cup almonds chopped
  • 1/4 cup icing sugar *to decorate

Method

  • Step 1
    Blend sugar and butter in a food processor until creamy, add all other ingredients and mix well.
  • Step 2
    Shape into crescents.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 160C for 15-20 minutes.
  • Step 4
    When cool sprinkle with icing sugar.
