Coated in breadcrumbs, these easy crispy skinned chicken drumsticks make the perfect dinner paired or finger food at your next party.
Ingredients
- 1kg chicken drumsticks
- 1/2 cup plain flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbs parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 tsp paprika
- Pinch of salt and pepper
- Olive oil cooking spray
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 200C. Beat the eggs in a shallow bowl and set aside. Place flour in another bowl and set aside. Combine breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, paprika, salt and pepper and place in a third bowl and set aside.

Step 2Spray a large baking tray with cooking oil.

Step 3Wash the chicken drumsticks and pat dry with paper towels.

Step 4Working one at a time, dip each drumstick in the flour, then in egg, and then the breadcrumbs. Place on the prepared baking tray. Continue until all drumsticks have been coated.

Step 5Spray the crumbed drumsticks with cooking spray. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.

Tips to convert this recipe to cook in an air fryer
You can also make these drumsticks in an air fryer. Follow up to set 4 and place in an air fryer. Cook until golden and cooked through.
