French Onion, Cheese and Bacon Dinner Rollettes

Ingredients

  • 12 dinner roll
  • 150 g bacon rashers diced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 200 g French onion dip
  • 80 ml light thickened cream
  • 80 g light sour cream
  • 1 cup light tasty cheese

Method

  • Step 1
    Cut and scrape out the bread from the rollettes and discard. Fry bacon and onion lightly.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl, combine the dip, creams, ¾ cup cheese and bacon and onion mixture, mix well. Spoon into dinner rolls, then top with remaining cheese.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 150C (fan forced) for 10-15 minutes until cheese has melted.
Recipe Notes
Adjust ingredients according to taste. Light ham can be used.
