A quick and easy way to jazz up a week night fish dish.
Ingredients
- 4 white fish fillet
- 50 g butter
- 50 g plain flour
- 500 ml milk warmed
- 1 tbs lime juice
- 1 pinch pepper
Method

Step 1Melt butter in a pan then add flour to form a roux, then slowly add milk whilst stirring.

Step 2Stir in lime juice and pepper.

Step 3Pan fry fish.

Step 4Serve sauce poured over fish.
Recipe Notes
Serve with a side of microwaved vegetables which you can cook while pan frying fish. Cauliflower and broccoli go particularly well with this sauce.
