Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillet
  • 50 g butter
  • 50 g plain flour
  • 500 ml milk warmed
  • 1 tbs lime juice
  • 1 pinch pepper

Method

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in a pan then add flour to form a roux, then slowly add milk whilst stirring.
  • Step 2
    Stir in lime juice and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Pan fry fish.
  • Step 4
    Serve sauce poured over fish.
Recipe Notes
Serve with a side of microwaved vegetables which you can cook while pan frying fish. Cauliflower and broccoli go particularly well with this sauce.
