Beautiful sauce for steak.
Ingredients
- 6 button mushrooms thinly sliced
- 1/2 garlic clove crushed
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbs gravy powder
- 2 tbs cream
- 1 pinch pepper *to taste
Method

Step 1Fry off mushrooms and crushed garlic, preferably in pan after cooking meat.

Step 2Add water and bring to the boil.

Step 3Make gravy to a paste with a little water. Add gravy paste and stir until thickened.

Step 4Stir in cream and pepper.

Step 5Serve over steaks.
Recipe Notes
You may need to add a little more water depending on how thick the sauce is before you add the cream.
