Melt in your mouth lamb in a delicious, sweet, tangy gravy.
Ingredients
- 500 g diced lamb
- 1 brown onion diced small
- 1 tbs plain flour
- 1 tsp curry powder *to taste
- 1 garlic clove crushed
- 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
- 1/4 cup strawberry jam
- 1/4 cup fruit chutney
- 1/4 cup apple sauce
- 1/4 cup sultanas
- 1 vegetable stock cube
- 1 seasoning *to taste
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C.

Step 2Brown lamb in batches and set aside.

Step 3Fry onion, garlic, flour and curry powder.

Step 4Return meat to pan, add remaining ingredients and stir until bubbling.

Step 5Place in oven for 1½-2 hours or until lamb is tender.
