Ingredients

  • 500 g diced lamb
  • 1 brown onion diced small
  • 1 tbs plain flour
  • 1 tsp curry powder *to taste
  • 1 garlic clove crushed
  • 400 g canned crushed tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup fruit chutney
  • 1/4 cup apple sauce
  • 1/4 cup sultanas
  • 1 vegetable stock cube
  • 1 seasoning *to taste

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Step 2
    Brown lamb in batches and set aside.
  • Step 3
    Fry onion, garlic, flour and curry powder.

    Return meat to pan, add remaining ingredients and stir until bubbling.
  • Step 5
    Place in oven for 1½-2 hours or until lamb is tender.
