Fried rice made from left over boiled rice. I usually make this dish in bulk for family events.
Ingredients
- 2 cup long-grain white rice cooked cooled
- 2 egg
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 3 bacon rashers diced
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1/2 cup chicken stock (liquid)
- 1 tbs soy sauce
- 1 tbs oil
Method
-
Step 1Fry eggs, then set aside on a plate.
-
Step 2In a fry pan, cook onion and bacon in a little oil until onion is translucent. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.
-
Step 3Add rice and cook for 1 minute. Add chicken stock and peas. Cook until stock has been absorbed.
-
Step 4Add soy sauce evenly over rice and stir through quickly to give rice an even light brown colour.
-
Step 5Shred egg and stir through rice.
