Fried rice made from left over boiled rice. I usually make this dish in bulk for family events.

Ingredients

  • 2 cup long-grain white rice cooked cooled
  • 2 egg
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 garlic clove minced
  • 3 bacon rashers diced
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 1/2 cup chicken stock (liquid)
  • 1 tbs soy sauce
  • 1 tbs oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Fry eggs, then set aside on a plate.
  • Step 2
    In a fry pan, cook onion and bacon in a little oil until onion is translucent. Add garlic and cook for another 30 seconds.

  • Step 3
    Add rice and cook for 1 minute. Add chicken stock and peas. Cook until stock has been absorbed.
  • Step 4
    Add soy sauce evenly over rice and stir through quickly to give rice an even light brown colour.
  • Step 5
    Shred egg and stir through rice.
