So easy and great to make with the kids. Its delicious and fluffy, everyone loves it.
Ingredients
- 2 egg
- 115 g butter softened
- 1 cup caster sugar
- 2 cup self-raising flour
- 2/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract optional
Icing
- 2 cup icing sugar
- 15 g butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tbs liquid food colouring optional
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C (fan forced).

Step 2Combine all ingredients in a medium sized bowl of an electric mixer.

Step 3Beat on low speed until thick, then beat on high speed for 2 minutes. Mixture will be thick.

Step 4Lightly grease a cake or muffin tin with butter.

Step 5Pour cake mix into tin and bake for 30-45 minutes.

Step 6Allow to cool, then spread with icing.

Step 7Icing: Mix icing sugar, butter, milk and food colouring together to form a thin icing.

Step 8Place in fridge for 20 minutes to set.
