An easy bread recipe that can be used as a pizza base or simply for your daily bread.
Ingredients
- 500 g plain flour
- 8 g yeast
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp milk
- 300 ml lukewarm water
- 5 tbs olive oil
Method

Step 1Pre-heat oven to 200C.

Step 2Mix all dry ingredients and the oil together in a bowl.

Step 3Slowly add the water while mixing, continue mixing until a firm dough forms.

Step 4Knead for 10–12 minutes or until smooth.

Step 5Place in a loaf tin or shape into rolls. Leave to rise for at least 30 minutes.

Step 6Bake for 35-40 minutes.
Recipe Notes
Add cheese and mustard for some extra flavour. This can also be used as a pizza base. If you want a thin pizza base do not allow dough to rise but use immediately. This makes 1 loaf or 3 pizza bases.
