This apple crumble is so easy to make and most of us have all the ingredients sitting in our pantries at home. You can prepare in the morning keep in fridge until ready for baking takes only around 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup self-raising flour
- 1/2 cup coconut
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 100 g butter softened
- 400 g canned apple
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp sugar *extra
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C.

Step 2Place tin apples in a greased 20cm round pie tin. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of white sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon on top on apples. Stir.

Step 3For crumble, combine remaining dry ingredients with butter by rubbing with fingertips until fine crumble forms.

Step 4Place onto of the apples. Bake in oven for around 20 minutes or until golden on top. Serve with custard, vanilla ice cream or both.
