They're called the easiest-ever air fryer scones for a reason. All it takes is 3 ingredients and you'll soon have warm, old-fashioned scones ready to spread jam and cream over.
Ingredients
- 2 cups self raising flour
- 1/2 cup thickened cream
- 1/2 cup lemonade
- Strawberry jam, to serve
- Whipped cream, to serve
Method

Step 1Place flour in a large bowl, pour in lemonade and cream. Using a flat bladed knife, in a cutting motion, stir until a sticky dough forms.

Step 2Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 30 seconds or until just smooth. Press into a 3-4cm thick disc. Using a lightly floured 5cm round pastry cutter, cut out 12 rounds, re-rolling dough if necessary. Place the scones, just touching into the basket of an air fryer. Lightly brush with extra cream.

Step 3Air fry at 180C for 8 minutes or until scones are risen, golden and sound hollow when tapped on the top. Transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Step 4Serve scones warm or at room temperature with whipped cream and jam if desired.
