Delicious golden crumbed chicken. Great for sandwiches, wraps, finger food or as the meat component of a meal.
Ingredients
- 1 chicken breast fillet
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup plain flour
- 1 pinch lemon pepper seasoning
- 1 tbs oil
Method

Step 1Cut chicken to desired thickness.

Step 2Lay chicken out and sprinkle seasoning over both sides.

Step 3Coat in flour.

Step 4Whisk egg with a sprinkle of seasoning.

Step 5Coat chicken in egg mixture, followed by breadcrumbs.

Step 6Heat oil in fry-pan.

Step 7Fry chicken for 5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
Recipe Notes
If there's just 1 person you'll need 1 chicken breast, a bit of flour and breadcrumbs and one egg, if there's 2 people you need double, etc. I know people who have frozen this recipe after cooking and they say it freezes just fine. I prefer to use Masterfoods seasoning.
