A delicious and healthy creamy chicken dish that will fast become a regular family favourite.
Ingredients
- 800 g chicken breast fillet cubed
- 1 broccoli cut into pieces
- 1 onion diced
- 1 carrot diced
- 1/2 cup peas
- 425 g canned cream of chicken soup
- 1 tbs cream
- 8 rice *to serve
Method

Step 1Fry chicken in a deep pan until white. Do not brown. Soak peas for 2 minutes in water.

Step 2Add onion, carrot, broccoli and peas to the chicken. Cook for 5 -7 minutes on a medium heat.

Step 3Lower the heat and add the soup and enough cream to give the mixture a creamy, sauce, like consistency.

Step 4Add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 5Leave simmering on a low heat for 10 - 15 minutes. Serve on boiled rice.
Recipe Notes
You could also add half a cup of chopped mushrooms. I find Cambells Cream of Chicken condensed soup (from the can) works great with this recipe, but any will work fine.
