Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 kg chicken breast fillet diced
  • 5 bacon rashers diced
  • 40 g French onion soup mix
  • 600 ml thickened cream
  • 1 brown onion diced large
  • 1/2 garlic clove diced finely chopped
  • 1 capsicum diced
  • 2 1/2 cup rice cooked

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Step 2
    Brown the chicken breast, add bacon, onion, garlic and capsicum, cook until onion softens.

  • Step 3
    In a casserole dish, stir together the soup mix and cream.
  • Step 4
    Add the cooked ingredients and combine well.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 15 minutes or until chicken has cooked through.

Equipment

  • 1 casserole dish
Recipe Notes

Serve with rice.
You can substitute thickened cream with cooking cream.
