This creamed corn cob loaf is a real crowd pleaser. Filled with an oozy, cheesy creamed corn dip, serve it up straight from the oven and let everyone help themselves.
Ingredients
- 1 cob loaf
- 420g tin creamed corn
- 300g Woolworths Sour Cream
- 1 tsp Massel* Chicken Stock Powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 cup grated cheese

Method
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 180C.
-
Step 2Use a sharp knife to remove ‘lid’ from cob loaf. Pull bread out from inside and tear into bite-size pieces. Place loaf on a baking tray and scatter the torn bread pieces alongside it. Bake for 10 minutes.
-
Step 3Place remaining ingredients in a large bowl, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
-
Step 4Remove cob loaf from oven and set aside toasted bread pieces. Fill cob with creamed corn mixture. Top with lid and wrap entire loaf in aluminium foil. Return to oven and bake for 40 minutes. The creamed corn mixture should be hot and bubbly. If not, continue baking for a further 10-20 minutes.
-
Step 5Serve with toasted bread pieces on the side.
