These have been a favourite of our family over the years. Great with a cup of coffee or tea.
Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 250 g white sugar
- 2 egg
- 2 cup dates chopped
- 2 cup Cornflakes
- 2 cup plain flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
Method

Step 1Cream butter and sugar with an electric mixer until creamy.

Step 2Add eggs and dates.

Step 3Combine sifted flour and baking powder.

Step 4Grease oven tray.

Step 5Using teaspoons of mixture, roll in cornflakes and place on tray.

Step 6Bake at 180C for approximately 20 minutes.
