This is a really lovely slice to have alongside a hot cup of tea or coffee, so think about making it next time you have friends around. It’s super easy to throw together, and if you have a can of condensed milk in the pantry, some coffee biscuits, coconut and lemons, then you’re good to go.
How to make a no-bake condensed milk slice: key tips
There’s no need to crush the biscuits for this slice, you simply line the base of your slice pan with them, cutting them to fit, if necessary. Then just combine the remaining 3 ingredients and pour the mixture on top of your biscuit layer, before finishing with another biscuit layer.
You’ll need to place the slice in the fridge for a few hours so that the filling firms up as the coconut absorbs the sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice. During this time, the biscuits will also soften a little.
Key ingredients in this no-bake condensed milk recipe
Milk coffee biscuits are used in this recipe, but feel free to use another plain sweet biscuit, such as Nice. The biscuit you choose will need to be rectangular in shape so that it will cover the base and top of the slice without leaving gaps.
The sweetened condensed milk, coconut and lemon juice combine to make a sweet and creamy, yet tangy, filling that has a lovely texture, thanks to the coconut. Opt for fresh lemon juice, rather than concentrated, so that you achieve the best possible flavour.

Recipe Notes
How can I ice this no-bake condensed milk slice?
You can eat this slice as is, but it does lend itself to being iced, and the flavour you choose is up to you. Try a passionfruit icing, lemon icing or a simple vanilla icing, with or without a sprinkle of desiccated coconut on top. One ABR reviewer even topped their slice with a chocolate ganache. Now, that’s truly decadent!
How long will this no-bake condensed milk slice keep?
This slice will keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days, but is best eaten within a couple of days while the biscuits are still somewhat crunchy.
