Great for fun parties.
Ingredients
- 150 g milk chocolate melts melted
- 12 ice cream cone
- 36 Smarties
- 6 x 1 cm strap licorice
- 12 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
- 12 Jaffas
Method

Step 1Use palette knife to spread melted chocolate over one side of cone. Quickly press three Smarties into it.

Step 2Stand on lined tray for 30 minutes or until chocolate is set.

Step 3Cut each piece of liquorice crossways into eight strips.

Step 4Place a scoop of ice-cream into each cone. Quickly roll in sprinkles. Freeze for 3 hours or until ice-cream is firm.

Step 5Working quickly, press four cris-crossed strips of liquorice into the front for eyes.

Step 6Freeze overnight.

Step 7Make hats by rolling paper into cone shape and securing with clear tape, then trim base. Glue a pom-pom to the top.

Step 8Quickly press a Jaffa into each cone to form clown nose. Top each clown with a paper hat. Serve immediately.

- 1 freezer
Recipe Notes
I used square ice-cream cones, natural coloured. You will also need 12 x 10 cm squares paper and 12 small pom-poms.
