Chocolate Weet-Bix Slice makes the perfect lunchbox treat! Best of all, you've probably already got all of the ingredients at home!
Ingredients
- 12 Weet-Bix crushed
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder sifted
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 200 g butter melted
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 200 g milk chocolate melted
- 200 g chocolate freckles
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 180C/160C degrees fan-forced.

Step 2Grease an 18cm x 28cm slice pan. Line base and sides with baking paper, allowing a 3cm overhang on all sides.

Step 3Combine finely crushed Weet-Bix, cocoa powder, sugar, butter, coconut and egg in a bowl.

Step 4Press mixture over base of prepared pan.

Step 5Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until firm to touch. Allow to cool.

Step 6Melt chocolate on medium heat in the microwave for 3 minutes (stirring every 30 seconds with a metal spoon) and pour over the top of the slice. Working quickly, place the Freckles in neat lines.

Step 7Pop in the fridge for 2 hours. Take out of the fridge and cut into squares.
