This mousse cake is sure to be a family favourite.
Ingredients
- 200 g Aeroplane Sweet Treats choc honeycomb mousse
- 20 cm basic chocolate cake halved
- 500 ml full cream milk cold
- 200 g chocolate malt balls
- 300 ml thickened cream whipped
Method

Step 1Line a 20 cm springform pan with plastic wrap.

Step 2Place ½ plain chocolate cake into base to create bottom layer.

Step 3Beat milk with Aeroplane Sweet Treats Choc Honeycomb Mousse. Mix until just thick and creamy.

Step 4Fold in half the amount of chocolate malt balls. Pour over cake layer in pan.

Step 5Top the mousse with remaining ½ of chocolate cake.

Step 6Spread with whipped cream and top with halved chocolate malt balls.

Step 7Chill until ready to serve.

Step 8To serve, lift cake out from pan using the plastic wrap as handles, and holding base gently remove cling wrap before placing onto a serving plate.

Recipe Notes
Best on day made however will keep for next day. Use a 20cm size plain chocolate cake.
