These are so popular for dinner parties or as a gift. I made these for my girlfriend's birthday recently and she loved them. I even made them for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. It's a bit fiddly, but worth it in the end!
Ingredients
- 2 punnets fresh strawberries
- 375 g milk chocolate melts melted
- 200 g mint leaves fresh
- 4 tbs cocoa powder
- 1 packet hundreds and thousands
Method

Step 1Wash and thoroughly dry all strawberries, leaving the green leaves on.

Step 2Carefully skewer 1 or 2 mint leaves about ⅓ way down each skewer, so it looks like a leaf.

Step 3Carefully skewer one strawberry onto the top of the skewer, through the green leafy middle.

Step 4Make sure the skewer is not sticking out of the top.

Step 5Dip half the strawberry in a little cocoa and then dip the strawberry in the melted chocolate.

Step 6Roll strawberry into hundreds and thousands or crushed nuts.

Step 7Repeat with remaining strawberries.

Step 8Place on a lined tray, or into a tall glass and place in the fridge straight away to set.

Step 9Serve in a clean glass or jug.
