Ingredients

  • 12 chicken pieces
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tbs brown sugar
  • 2 tbs honey
  • 2 tsp crushed garlic
  • 1 tsp ginger crushed
  • 3 tsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tbs oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients, except chicken, together in a large bowl. Cover chicken pieces with marinade for 2-3 hours minimum.

  • Step 2
    Remove and drain chicken. Saute in hot oil until chicken has coloured.
  • Step 3
    Place in a greased baking dish, cover with foil and bake at 180C until tender, approximately 30-35 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Serve with steamed vegetables or salad.
Recipe Notes

Use chicken tenderloin.

Chicken can also be cooked on the barbecue.

Tabasco sauce can also be used.
