A homemade chilli sauce thats quick and easy, and great with steak or prawns. Also good with pasta, just add some vegetables and do not thicken. - LISSA81

Ingredients

  • 1 tbs tomato sauce
  • 1 tbs barbecue sauce
  • 1 tsp chilli sauce
  • 1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion chopped large
  • 1 tomato chopped
  • 2 tsp white vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp water
  • 1 tbs oil

Method

  • Step 1
    Fry onion and tomato in a little oil until soft.
  • Step 2
    Add the sauces and vinegar. Bring to the boil and let it simmer until reduced a little.
  • Step 3
    Add some cornflour mixed with a little water if sauce requires thickening.
Recipe Notes
You can double the recipe or add more chilli if you want it hotter.
