A tasty prawn entree.
Ingredients
- 1/2 kg prawns uncooked
- 1 tbs oil
- 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves chopped
- 2 tsp lime rind grated
- 1 tsp chilli chopped fresh
- 1 tsp garlic fresh minced
Method

Step 1Combine all ingredients in a bowl and refrigerate for a couple of hours.

Step 2Cook the prawns in a heated, oiled grill pan for a few minutes each side until cooked through.

Step 3Serve with salad or salsa.
Recipe Notes
Uncooked prawn cutlets have already had the shell and veins removed.
Add more or less chilli to taste.
These prawns are delicious served with a simple tomato and avocado salsa.
