A very tasty basic soup recipe.
Ingredients
- 3 chicken drumstick skinless
- 1 onion diced
- 2 carrot diced
- 2 celery stalk diced
- 3L chicken stock (liquid)
- 100 g noodles
- 1 seasoning
Method

Step 1Put all ingredients except noodles in a large pot.

Step 2Cover and bring to the boil. Simmer for 2 hours.

Step 3Remove chicken and take meat off the bone and dice finely.

Step 4Return to pot. Add noodles and cook for further 15 minutes.

Step 5Season if needed.
Recipe Notes
This is a very basic recipe - add more vegetables if desired and more noodles if you would like a thicker soup. I also used Barossa fine egg noodles but broken up spaghetti would do just as well. Any leftovers can be frozen.
