Ingredients

  • 1 tbs oil
  • 120 g skin-off chicken breast fillet
  • 1 1/2 tsp tomato paste
  • 4 slices bread
  • 2 slices cheese large
  • 30 g ham (deli) sliced

Method

  • Step 1
    In a small non-stick frying pan, heat a tablespoon of oil and fry the chicken until cooked. Remove and slice the chicken.
  • Step 2
    Spread tomato paste over two slices of bread and top with chicken, cheese and ham.
  • Step 3
    Place remaining slices of bread on top.
  • Step 4
    Place in a heated jaffle iron or jaffle maker and brown to preference.
Recipe Notes

For a healthier recipe, use cooking spray instead of oil and reduced-salt tomato paste instead of the regular kind.
