This beef pasta bake uses French onion soup mix to create a flavoursome, cheesy meal that is perfect for dinner tonight.
Ingredients
- 350g Woolworths Pasta Macaroni
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 1 brown onion, finely chopped
- 500g beef mince
- 250ml (1 cup) beef stock
- 400g can crushed tomatoes
- 35g pkt French onion soup mix
- 250g frozen peas, corn and carrots
- 2 cups 3 cheese blend

Step 1Preheat oven to 200C/180C fan forced. Lightly grease a 2.5L or 10 cup baking dish.

Step 2Cook macaroni according to packet instructions in boiling salted water and drain well.

Step 3Heat oil in a large frying pan over a high heat and when hot add the onion, cooking for 1-2 minutes or until translucent. Add beef and cook for 3-4 minutes or until browned. Add stock, tomatoes, soup mix and vegetables and mix to combine. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat to simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 4Stir in macaroni and 1 cup of cheese. Transfer to the prepared baking dish and sprinkle over remaining cheese. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is golden.
