Ingredients

  • 500 g beef mince
  • 250 g sausage beef mince
  • 1/3 cup mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/3 cup fresh basil
  • 1/3 cup stuffed green olives sliced
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 1 cup dried breadcrumbs
  • 4 sheets puff pastry frozen
  • 1 egg lightly beaten

Method

  • Step 1
    Combine beef and sausage mince with cheeses, basil, olives, tomato paste and breadcrumbs in a bowl, mix well.
  • Step 2
    Cut each pastry sheet in half. Place mixture in a line along centre of each rectangle.
  • Step 3
    Brush edges of rectangle with a little egg and roll over to enclose.
  • Step 4
    Cut each roll into four pieces, prick top of each roll with a fork and brush with egg.
  • Step 5
    Place rolls seam side down on oven trays.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 220C for about 20 minutes or until browned.
  • Step 7
    Serve with sauce, if desired.
