Put your pie maker to good use with these tasty little 4-ingredient savoury pies. Filled to oozing with baked beans, crispy bacon and melted cheese, they’ll be devoured straight from the pie maker, and they’re also great for the lunch box! - Greer Worsley

Ingredients

  • 200g bacon, diced
  • 300g Heinz Baked Beanz can
  • 1 cup tasty cheese, grated
  • 3 sheets frozen puff pastry, defrosted

Method

  • Step 1
    Preheat pie maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Step 2
    In a medium frypan, fry off bacon for 4 - 5 minutes until crispy. Drain on paper towel then combine in a bowl with baked beans and cheese.
  • Step 3
    Use pie maker cutter to cut 6 bases and 6 tops from the puff pastry sheets. Line plates of pie maker with 4 pastry bases. Spoon in 1/3 cup measures of bean and bacon mixture. Top with pastry tops and close lid of pie maker. Cook for 8 minutes until golden.
  • Step 4
    Repeat with remaining ingredients to make another 2 pies.
