Get baking with these easy condensed milk spritz cookies.
Ingredients
- 500g butter, cubed
- 1 cup white sugar
- 400g tin sweetened condensed milk
- 5 cups self-raising flour
- 2 tsp almond essence
- Cachous *to decorate
- Almonds *to decorate
Method

Step 1Preheat oven to 170C.

Step 2Place butter in a saucepan and melt over low heat. Add sugar and stir so the sugar begins to dissolve. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Allow to cool slightly, then stir in condensed milk and almond essence.

Step 3Place the flour in a large bowl and gradually stir in the cooled condensed milk mixture.

Step 4Pipe the biscuits and place on a greased cookie tray. Place a cachous or half an almond in the middle of the biscuit. Bake at 170C for 10 - 15 minutes. Allow to cool slightly and place on a cooling rack. Store in an airtight container.
