- 1 brown onion sliced
- 4 bacon rashers cut into strips rindless

- 4 leaves cos lettuce cleaned large torn
- 6 egg
- 6 slices tasty cheese cut in half
- 1 tomato sliced
- 1 canola oil spray
- 6 hamburger rolls split
- 6 tsp ranch salad dressing
Method
-
Step 1In a large mixing bowl, whisk the beaten egg with all spices. Combine with beef mince.
-
Step 2Add breadcrumbs and combine again. Form into patties and set aside.
-
Step 3Heat 3 frying pans with spray-on oil.

-
Step 6In the last pan, cook eggs in rings, sunny-side up until cooked but yolk is still a bit runny.
-
Step 7Place buns on plates and top with lettuce, beetroot, tomato and ranch dressing.
-
Step 8Place cheese-covered beef patty on top, then add bacon and onion.
-
Step 9Lastly, add the egg and let the yolk dribble over the rest of the burger contents.
-
Step 10Serve with hot chips on the side, and tomato or BBQ sauce if desired.
Recipe Notes
Cheese-covered patties (with bacon and onion stacked on top) will keep in the fridge for a few days, so if you're only feeding 2 people, this will still work. We ate big burgers for three days in a row and didn't get sick of them! The only difference was I cooked the eggs fresh each night.
