Ingredients

  • 6 egg
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tbs sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 3/4 cup brandy
  • 1/2 cup rum
  • 2 cup milk
  • 2 cup cream

Method

  • Step 1
    Beat eggs for 2-3 minutes until very frothy.
  • Step 2
    Gradually beat in sugar, vanilla and nutmeg.
    Eggnog
  • Step 3
    Stir in brandy, rum, milk and cream.
  • Step 4
    Pour into jug for serving.
Recipe Notes

All ingredients need to be very cold, keep in fridge until time to prepare. I like to make this the night before and leave it to chill in the fridge. I quickly blend the egg nog again before serving. I use a cocktail blender because it has a tap on the front but any blender or mixer will do. Makes about 1.5 litres. I use Coruba or Captain Morgan rum.
