Ingredients

  • 395g tin condensed milk
  • 125g butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 180g Caramilk chocolate, chopped
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • extra Caramilk chocolate, melted, to drizzle

Method

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 160C. Grease and line a 27x17cm slice tin.
  • Step 2
In a small saucepan, combine condensed milk, butter, sugar and half the Caramilk. Stir over gentle heat until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool.
  • Step 3
Whisk eggs into cooled condensed milk mixture, then fold through flour and baking powder. Fold through remaining chopped Caramilk. Pour into prepared tin.
  • Step 4
Bake for 20-25 minutes until just set - it should still be a little gooey in the centre. Allow to cool slightly. Melt extra Caramilk in a metal bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, or in short bursts in the microwave. Drizzle over cooled slice. Cut into squares to serve.
Recipe Notes
  • You will need about 1/4 block extra for the drizzle.
