With it’s addictive caramelised white chocolate flavour, Caramilk is the perfect addition to these moreish blondies.
Ingredients
- 395g tin condensed milk
- 125g butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 180g Caramilk chocolate, chopped
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- extra Caramilk chocolate, melted, to drizzle
Method
-
Step 1Preheat oven to 160C. Grease and line a 27x17cm slice tin.
-
Step 2In a small saucepan, combine condensed milk, butter, sugar and half the Caramilk. Stir over gentle heat until melted and smooth. Set aside to cool.
-
Step 3Whisk eggs into cooled condensed milk mixture, then fold through flour and baking powder. Fold through remaining chopped Caramilk. Pour into prepared tin.
-
Step 4Bake for 20-25 minutes until just set - it should still be a little gooey in the centre. Allow to cool slightly. Melt extra Caramilk in a metal bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, or in short bursts in the microwave. Drizzle over cooled slice. Cut into squares to serve.
Recipe Notes
- You will need about 1/4 block extra for the drizzle.
