A very tasty side dish that can be served with any cooked meat.
Ingredients
- 500 g Brussels sprouts cut in half ends trimmed washed
- 300 g bacon rashers
- 2 garlic clove crushed
- 1 pinch salt *to taste
- 1 pinch pepper *to taste
Method

Step 1Cut the bacon to small pieces and fry in frying pan until it browns. Add crushed garlic and brussels sprouts. Stir and cook for about 30 seconds.

Step 2Pour in 1/2 cup water, cover with lid and cook until the liquid evaporates, or until the brussels sprout is soft with a slight crunch.

Step 3Season with salt and pepper to taste.

You can use ham instead of bacon
